this is a map i made a long time ago that i made to be balanced and fun for a good micro intense game. it is particularly useful for trying out new strategies or just when you need help with a particular matchup. you got your moat for your main, plus to the left there is an extra geyser, although hidden in the rock formations, and then to the right there is an extra mineral patch area. there is clever terrain all around for anyone to take advantage of, and in the middle there is a geyser for you to fight over with your opponent or just to stare at or ignore if you wish.

so let me know what the rest of you think.
by the way, i am insomniacandrew and greenray but lately i've changed my name to sankaku, which is japanese word for triangle, anyway some of my maps may say insomniacandrew, some may say greenray, from now on i'll just keep my map maker name as insomniacandrew i think.

by the way, guys, i've been working on some other ideas for some of my newer maps, but could you give me some troubleshooting on how to use some of those newer features i keep seeing in all the new maps nowadays? particularly i need help with the ramp resizing and inverting, and bridges too.

anyway i got the scm draft 2 but i can't seem to do anything with it, i tried placing illegal units like the xel naga temples, and dark swarms and things like that, but they never come into the game, although the editor seems to think they are in the game. i don't get it...

so that's the second thing i've having problems with, but the major thing i need to figure out is with the ramps and bridges, i mean blizz shoulda enabled that from day 1!! how comes they haven't patched that into a new patch is totally beyond me...

Hi there, have you read all the articles on this site? It'll help you out with mapmaking, using SCM Draft 2, and what kinda of imbalances to look out for. I suggest you read up on them first if you haven't already. :)

That's the kind way of telling you that this map is unplayable. Yes, read the articles and start off with setups similar to comon maps like LT/luna/RH3, or our recommended maps.

your main problem is that your terrain is randomly placed, without any thinking of how it affects the gameplay. you also need expansions...

for a start, stick to basic layouts
