I can't help but think that blue and red are getting a way better deal ._.
I don't care for the long distances, lack of space, and patthing issues assiciated with neutrals.
Red/blue probably mine faster, and are closer to SW/NE, whereas teal/purple are closer to the islands, but they're island -.-
decoration kind of sucks ._.
I'm not a 2v2 player, so I dunno how it'll play cooperatively, but I know it'll suck hard for 1v1.

Scouting is going to be uber-anoying here. Also moving troops around depending on what the starting position is and whether the neutrals have been removed.
