Needs more expansion or more gas.
Where are purple and teal's gas?
And why are there 8 on red and blue's and not on purple and teal?
And instead of mineral blocks try neutral building using unit sprites.
And I gotta say that the choke is too small, and it would be easy to defend (try making it a bit wider and a little less shorter)
And at 12 and 6 make the sides filled with doodads or make it unbuildable but don't make it too unbuidlable.
The middle looks nice.

I like the map a lot , the hole idea of the little gas is awesome , also the min block leading to that min only is pretty cool.Another thing I like is the high ground nat (with no gas).
But that islands :( they are a good idea but , I don't think u know the purpose of that min in the middle of the island expo.Its fore terran not to be able to float a cc over there(which gives them a judge advantage).But your blocks suck, terran just needs to land the cc in the corner , then make an scv , and clear the mineral(So your min there has almost zero use)What u need to do is add more mins like that , as many as it takes to block the hole thing(So cc cant be floated , and If terran wants that Island make him get a drop ship like every one else , specially on this map that gas is so precious)
And about that so precious gas although I like the idea , this might bring imbalance between the races.Not to mention that this might not be such a good 2 vs 2 map, but u can still 1 vs 1....

Updated: Fixed missing gas.
Now map is suitable for 2vs2 imo (It is too large for 1 vs 1 because it is 128x128 and a lot of mins).
CC may float but cannot land on the islands until the blocks are not removed.
The minblocks near the gas exp are 24 mins each,
it will cost time to gather them up before building on the geyser.

Nice, now if you want you can shift the minerals mains to the edge, if you don't know what I'm saying look at their mains of this map and see how it's more to the edge.

The reason for this is because you want to be more harass but don't make it too close to the edge because tanks can go at 12 and 6 and kill your workers.
And that's a lot of minerals the workers have to mine out try to limit them as much as possible. Looks like 5-6 minerals can be on the island.
Try using different mineral types, makes it look more better :) modified by coV
