I like this map. But the reason why i like this map so much is the effort it took to fit this type of layout into a 96X128 map - its great. A lot of patience was used to mending the cliff tiles so you can utilize more space for the lower ground.


I expect more maps will use this technique.

I do like the layout, and the intricacys of the cliffs, however I also think pathing is pretttty tight.

I really like this map, but I don't think I'll ever actually play it myself lol. Looks fun to watch though ~~

It seems problematic with all those cliffs over the expansions. I wonder if any race will take the upper hand because of that. (obviously you could use anything here, rines, tanks, temps, goons, lurks...).

Also, the low mineral count at the expansions (and I think some geysirs are at 1000, especially the nats) will force players to adapt their builds heavily. You obviously can't support the same number of facs from X expansions on this map.

I like the map.
Except for the fact that they stole Indignation's concept T_T.


Edit: I guess it isn't steal so much as borrow. I am happy that the low-highground made it into pro maps though.

Seriously, "low high ground" is no concept. Just a style of terrain. A concept is all that stuff like expansion layout. If your whole concept is to use some terrain style your map is gonna suck hard.
