Freakling
Let's call it a bastard, shall we?
CrystalDrag
Is it bad?
Taranok
whats the name about?

Wow this NICE! Ur getting really good man
Freakling
What comes to mind first is that the assimilator gates should be the other way around, right one on top... It follows that the whole map should be x-mirrored... Shit happens :P
Nightmarjoo
I like it, except for the gas placement in the mains.
Phobic
The gas placement is perfectly fine
Freakling
You know, "bad but balanced" is the new "it-thing" with gas placement...
sTY_leZerG-eX
lol really? no more gas issue concern?
Phobic
Not necessarily. There are other ways to place geysers where each race mines them equally.
Edit- each race mines them equally in different positions. Example: top right and bottom left mine equally for all races but not super efficiently. The point is it's balanced. Other positions exist too. modified by Phobic

That gas placement might be good if both players use 4 workers, but have you tested how it mines with 2, or 1 worker on it? It's not uncommon for players to pull some workers off gas to get more minerals, but keep one on gas.
On this map it doesn't look like it would be positionally imbalanced if you just put both gases in the mains above the SL. IMO unless the map demands it because of a severe imbalance (like tanks can hit a gas in one position, but not another type thing), then it is better to have gas that is the same position for both players. In ZvZ, the matchup most affected by this imbalance, there is a lot of pulling drones off gas for short periods of time. It is important that at least the main bases be even. So unless this gas positions mine equally with 1 and 2 workers, you should fix it.
CrystalDrag
No.
Taranok
It seems so vulnerable to move out of your natural. (i don't know if this is bad, probably isn't)
Chef
"No I didn't test it, but I won't fix it either."
Forgot about mapper egos ;p
Freakling
Actually "balanced" refers to mining speed with three workers for different races... Four workers should be saturated for all gas positions... Anyway, it's still unneeded and adds nothing to the map, but players may resent it just for that.
Taranok
is it just me or do the gates look strange in the pic?

Why is the pic upside down? Does this mean ingame the map is upside down too? :D :D
