Assume it's to help optimal mining, workers can take funny paths sometimes.
Well the map is visually neat, but boring. It's a little too basic for me-- the expo layout basically can't get simpler.

@marjoo: There are a few points to this map, an exotic expo layout is definitely none of them...
It's all about making that "three kingdoms"-theme work.
@taranok: I call the concept "black ore"... ;)
In fact, it's rather trivial, those are 50,000 (i.e. practically infinite) mineral patches. To compensate, all the other patches at those expos are greatly reduced.
Taking any of those expos will give you a strong, but short surge of income, enough to pay back for the investment of an expo. And after that you'll have a practically inexhaustible, but very limited source of income.
@Crystal: No, sorry, I have a pretty rigid deco theme and already all the missing deco planned out for this one.
Work on your own maps, so we have some new maps for the next map pack!

I love this, but in the first glance im not sure i like the middle expo.
Here my suggestion: Remove it, add gas to the mineral onlys, and add 3 mineral onlys in the middle next to the ridges, after all u have plenty of space there.
