-Natural expand has high ground over the minerals that is easily accessible through multiple ramps. They can also be used as a backdoor into the main base. I havent seen any abuse from this yet. Very good area for hidden tech or turrets.
In ZvsZ, as long as they can see zerglings going around, they can just block the ramp.
