Basically a draft for my "late" entry to this competition
Making it 3-player is only consequent, an ample leeway for asymmetry leaves room for good space distribution, after all.
Another obvious choice is to design this like a natural landscape, with curvy hill lines and somewhat irregular paths...
NW spawn would be Medusa-like, SW is like Gaema Gowon or Quintessence, E spawn... no idea, I think no well known map has actually ever used this exact arrangement.
Ramps from the mineral onlies to the middle will obviously have stacked building blocks, eventually.

Before I add real ramps and stuff, should I make all the mains low ground? Or would that just make this map too much "skewed symmetry" instead of real positional variety?

Ha, that is a late submission indeed.
I think I would keep keep the full variety, and not make all the mains low ground.

Or maybe just give NE a pretty tight choke, so they can still effectively block it with a ling concave or some workers ?
I always have too many map ideas floating around, and too little time to actually do anything about them. So all my maps end up late submissions :P modified by Freakling
